K. Bowditch

I was raised on the edge of the foothills in Boise, Idaho, where I developed a deep appreciation for the beauty of the sky and landscapes around me.

I have travelled to eight countries, and every state in the Union. I have lived on both coasts and in the Southwest. It was when I came to Yakima, however, that I knew I was home.

I was born drawing, and finally began to take myself seriously in 2017, when I started painting the landscapes and the animals here. The forms of clouds, hills, and all the outdoors are uniquely illuminated in this brilliant light. I try to catch it all.
